HAM RADIO DIY IN THE 21st CENTURY

posted Nov 12, 2017, 7:57 PM by Brian Lawler
Come join us on Tuesday night, November 14th, 2017 at 7:00pm at The Ferndale Library.

This month we will hear a presentation from our own Budd Churchward, WB7FHC, who will talk about:

HAM RADIO DIY IN THE 21st CENTURY

Budd will show us several of his recent "Home Brew" projects and demonstrate tools available to Amateur Radio Do-It-Yourselfers. Find out about micro-controllers like the Arduino, building on proto-boards, and even making your own printed circuit boards.

He hopes to put his keyer project on the air and demonstrate Reverse Beacon Network, a web site that anyone can use to see how their signal is getting out on the air.

You can check this out yourself before the meeting at www.reversebeacon.net.

As always, we will also have cookies and coffee and time to talk with others about Ham Radio. Bring a Friend! We hope to see you there.
